From Invercargill to oceans around the world, our boats are built for adventure - and so is our team.With a team of over 100 adventure engineers in New Zealand, Stabicraft is constantly innovating and evolving to meet our domestic and international customers' requirements.As we continue to scale and invest in the future, we are seeking a commercially savvy GM - Finance to join our leadership team and help steer the business through its next phase of growth.About the RoleBased in Invercargill and reporting to the CEO, you will provide leadership and direction of the Finance function for the Stabicraft Group.You will be a key strategic partner to the CEO and Board, leading the financial function across the business and playing a critical role in shaping long-term strategy for the Stabicraft Group. This includes oversight of the function to ensure the group achieves performance, profitability and compliance objectives, and development and delivery of business improvement and transformation activities. With operations expanding across New Zealand and international markets, this role demands a sharp financial mind and a strong grasp of commercial strategy.Key responsibilities of the role include:

Developing and implementing financial strategy aligned with business goals and likely future business requirements.
Leading and developing a high-performing finance team.
Delivering strategic financial management and investment advice.
Proactively contributing to environmental scanning and analysis to understand global, national and local issues and trends and how they may impact the group.
Driving research and analysis, reporting on costs and benefits of immediate and future business opportunities and making recommendations.
Growing the overall group balance sheet (i.e. assets and liabilities), Return on Investment, profitability, and income from the group businesses.
Reviewing the value of all businesses within the group by modelling profitability and other financial performance indicators, as required, and presenting this information to the Board.
In time, performing the role of Company Secretary for the Stabicraft Group, ensuring compliance with all legal and statutory objectives.

About YouYou are an experienced and self-motivated individual with the ability to provide leadership of all financial accountabilities for the Company and its subsidiaries. As someone used to working in a busy role, you will have the following:

Extensive experience in a finance role at a senior leadership level.
Proven experience in senior management decision-making, planning and strategic thinking.
A proven track record of leading strategically within an organisation, helping to create and execute business plans and strategic roadmaps.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate and ensure the delivery of outcomes.
Excellent motivation, coaching and leadership skills.
Uncompromising Integrity and ethical standards.
