This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting and complex civil and infrastructure projects with a dynamic, industry-leading team. Drawn to the technically challenging projects, this contractor is always on the lookout for talented individuals with a drive and passion for civil engineering. The Construction Manager will be a critical member of the management team with a focus on overseeing the delivering of heavy civil and water based projects throughout the region.Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Oversee and manage the successful delivery of civil and infrastructure projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Commercial and Contractual Focus: Drive the commercial and contractual aspects of projects, including budget management, risk mitigation, and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Tackle technical challenges head-on, providing innovative solutions that keep projects on track.
  • Management: Leading a team of PM's and above on multiple projects
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and maintain strong relationships.
Experience & Skills Required
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in civil construction, working with a reputable civil contractor.
  • Proven track record in delivering civil and infrastructure projects, ideally with expertise in water, drainage, and civil structures.
  • Strong focus on contractual, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Enjoyment of technical challenges and working on large-scale, impactful projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
