Mō te tūranga | About the RoleWe’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned risk professional to play a key role in shaping and embedding first line operational risk and compliance activities within our Human Resources and Communications (HRC) business unit. This role is integral to supporting Westpac New Zealand’s enterprise-wide risk management approach, with a strong focus on ensuring compliance with the Bank’s Operational Risk Management and Compliance frameworks.As a trusted risk partner, you’ll build strong relationships across the business unit and provide high-quality insights and reporting on HRC risk and compliance matters. You’ll be instrumental in leading first line of defence responsibilities and driving continuous improvement in how the business manages its risk and compliance environment.
