Are you an experienced payroll professional with expertise in New Zealand payroll practices? Join PwC as a Senior Payroll Advisor and play a crucial role in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services for our employees across New Zealand.In this pivotal position, you will ensure that our payroll operations adhere to all legal, regulatory, and policy guidelines. As a subject matter expert, you will provide valuable guidance on complex payroll matters, collaborate closely with our People & Culture team, and mentor our payroll coordinators to ensure excellence in our payroll processes.Key responsibilities include the following:Administer and execute end-to-end processes for monthly payroll cycles ensuring accuracy and timelinessConduct payroll reconciliations, variance analysis and reportingEnsure compliance with New Zealand payroll legislation, including IRD, the Holidays Act, Wages Protection Act and PwC PoliciesPrepare payroll reports, dashboards and analytics for key stakeholders including Finance, P&C and wider stakeholdersSupport the ongoing enhancement and automation of payroll systems (Chris21 etc)Work closely with stakeholders in delivering timely and efficient responses to payroll related questions by employeesLead and mentor a team of Payroll Coordinators, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
