We specialise in all Food types, Plants, Soils, Fertilizers, Potable Water, Sludge, Sediments, Leachate, Trade Waste Effluents, Sewage Effluents, Surface Water, River & Stream Monitoring, Seawater, and Groundwater.Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join our Auckland Chromatography Department in a permanent full-time role, working Sunday to Thursday.Key accountabilities include:-
  • Perform independent or specialist analytical work;
  • Be proficient in using these instruments - HPLC/GC/IC/LCMS;
  • Have at least 2 years experience working in a laboratory using the above mentioned instrument and able to trouble shoot as needed
  • Ensure external and internal clients' requirements are met / exceeded;
  • Ensure efficient utilisation of laboratory materials;
  • Have a vast knowledge of ISO 17025 standard;
  • Comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures;
  • Comply with quality management system policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience are preferred.
Experience:
  • Experience in appropriate technical disciplines and quality management systems is mandatory.
  • Has previously been a KTP in a chemistry discipline, preferable.
