We are currently delivering work ranging from motorway extensions, bridges and wharves to water treatment plants, storage tanks and pipelines.In this role, you’ll see yourself responsible for the effective delivery of heavy civil/structures projects. This includes the planning, resourcing and coordination from end to end, whilst ensuring we achieve and exceed all targets, including safety standards, quality standards, budgets, programme and project objectives.On a day-to-day basis you’ll be responsible for:

Developing construction plans and documentation
Managing the construction team and sub-contractors
Planning the execution of the works and developing construction methodology for all elements of the works
Providing a monthly forecast of cost to complete to the Commercial Manager, and an estimate of the work completed in terms of percentages complete to the planner
Optimising the use of material, plant and labour
Reporting progress and performance to the engineering manager
Maintaining a safe and tidy site, assisting in the development of management systems and ensuring compliance within your team
Undertaking regular inspections to ensure that safety, environmental, and quality standards are achieved across the project.

We are looking for someone exceptional at building and maintaining strong working relationships with a range of key stakeholders and to be successful in this role, you will ensure clear, concise communication across the different project teams, providing an in-depth handover to the project team each morning.
