The CompanyMy client is a very large privately-owned NZ business, based in East Tamaki. They are key players within the construction industry with circa $150M TO, and partner with many of the biggest players in the market. They have multiple brands which fall under three main business units and have a presence across the country. They are going through a transformation period which requires an additional resource in the team.The RoleWorking in a team of 2 and reporting directly into the Finance Manager, this is an opportunity to take ownership of multiple entities across the operation. Working in a wider finance team of 6 means you are well supported in a stable environment.Your duties will include:

Full function Accounts Payables of stock and non-stock invoices with weekly and monthly payment runs
3-way matching of invoices, PO's and GR
Partnering with project managers across the business for coding, references and approvals
Supplier queries and reconciliations
Closing off the month-end and generating the monthly report
Processing accruals and journals
Managing the AP inbox
Ad-hoc duties as requested

Skills & ExperienceHands-on Accounts Payable officer who has experience working autonomously for a medium to large enterprise in a high volume and fast paced environment would suit this position. You will be a confident individual who shows initiative and likes to understand the why's of a business.Strong communication is a must as well as the ability to fit into a very down to earth business. You will enjoy working to tight deadlines and be an organised and direct personality.
