Reporting directly to the Management Accountant, the Accounts Receivable Officer works closely with both internal and external customers across the Group locations, whilst providing quality assistance to the Management Accountant.You will be working closely with a team of 4 with the exciting opportunity to provide back up to Accounts Payable. This role would be perfect for someone currently working toward or looking to pursue a Finance degree – this is your chance to gain first-hand experience!Working days will begin with Monday to Friday 9am-3pm, with the opportunity to alter your hours when you are up and running.Key Responsibilities:· Management of SeaLink Group debtors and credit control· Monthly invoicing as required (external and intercompany)· Provide Management Accountant with weekly aged debtors updates, including status reports.· Timely response of all debtor queries· New customer credit checks & system setup· Back up to Accounts PayableRequirementsTo be successful:· Minimum NCEA Level 2 or equivalent· Degree or Diploma in Accounting / Business Studies advantageous· 2-3+ years Accounts Receivable experience in a similar role· NetSuite experience advantageous· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbally.· Time management – advanced organisation and planning skills· Advanced computer literacy skills· Process driven.· High attention to detailBenefitsWhat’s in it for you:· The opportunity to work for a company who cares about their people· Opportunity to work with like-minded, passionate individuals· Learning and development opportunities· Awesome travel benefits via our vessels to Waiheke and Great Barrier Island· Birthday leave- A paid day off to celebrate your birthday!· Health Insurance· Health and Wellbeing programmeIf this role sounds like the opportunity you're looking for, Apply now!Please submit your CV and a cover letter, specifically addressing the above skills and experience via seek.
