Accounts Receivable Officer

- Process daily banking transaction receipts
- Payment allocation as per remittances received
- Liaise with customers on overdue accounts and outstanding disputes
- A/C reconciliations and investigations
- Attend to customers queries such as copy invoices & Proof of Debt, follow up credit claims as required
- Process debtor's journals and supply ad hoc information as needed, e.g. cash flow expectations
- Orders on Hold required to be assessed, released or follow up customer
- Ensuring Customers receive monthly statements
- Calculation and processing of customer rebates
- Assisting with month end
- Producing monthly Aged Debtor Reports
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as in a similar role
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation.
- Flexible with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Has a positive approach and attitude, shows high levels of initiative and enthusiasm.
