  • Analysis of Contracts and commercial obligations and payments
  • Lead the creation of all contractual related data
This role actively supports the Contract Processing Manager, modal Contracts Managers and Service Operations team in the successful implementation, management and administration of service contract changes, variations, key performance indicators (KPIs) and contract payments, as well as engaging with our external PT service providers and stakeholders.This role will help to ensure Auckland Transport (AT) and contracted operating partners realise the anticipated value of contracts through the timely and high-quality delivery, co-ordination and management of commercial contracts for the delivery of AT's public transport (PT) services (circa $600m + per year across Ferry and Bus, and in future Rail).Key tasks will include:
  • Facilitate the day to day commercial and contractual activity of bus, ferry and rail services in the AT Metro Contract Management environment (CCE/CMOP system)
  • Actively manage and prepare all service change variations so PT service providers are paid according to contractual requirements and ensuring service changes/variations occur seamlessly.
  • Discuss/negotiate contract variations with internal stakeholders and PT service providers.
  • Prepare and be accountable for the accurate financial calculations and documentation for all contract variations (circa 250 per year) including diversion calculations and reduced timetables.
  • Interpret and reconcile timetable and service change data to accurately determine and describe the impact of changes on Unit Agreements

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in commerce, Management Studies or Business Studies
  • Contract Management, Project Management or procurement
  • Desired is 5 years experience in Commercial/contracts or data analysis with reporting
  • We will also consider a Commerce, Management studies or Business studies Masters student with Data Analysis who may have 1-2 years part time.
