You will be the heartbeat of the café, creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for our village residents and their guests and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations for the café and catering for our special events.Where You Will Make an Impact
- People management - including rostering of a team of nine café assistants and two kitchen staff
- Customer Service Excellence - Operational management of café from stock, vendor coordination to menu planning and organisation for events and special functions
- Financial management - responsibility for the café budget and profitability
- Health, Safety and compliance
- 2+ years experience as a Café Manager
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, mentor and inspire a café team.
- Be prepared to roll up your sleeve and get stuck into whatever needs to get done
- Empathy and a reliable, friendly, engaging and professional manner
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, care, and passion for making a difference in our residents' lives.
