
Corrections Clinical Lead - AOD

- Lead and support a multidisciplinary team including AOD Practitioners, Peer Support Workers, and Wairua/Rongoā Practitioners
- Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and professional development
- Champion the integration of Te Ao Māori and Wairua practices into AOD treatment
- Conduct assessments and deliver brief interventions and group programmes
- Collaborate with Corrections, Mahitahi Trust, and other partners to ensure culturally relevant, evidence-based care
- Oversee documentation, risk management, and continuous quality improvement
- Influence service design and delivery across both prison sites
- A relevant tertiary qualification in health (e.g. social work, nursing, psychology)
- Registration under the HPCA Act or with DAPAANZ, with a current APC
- At least 3 years' experience in AOD services, including group facilitation
- Proven leadership experience in clinical settings
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and mental health legislation
- Cultural competence and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- A full NZ driver's licence
- Salary range: $92,544.70 - $104,380.78 (based on experience)
