He kōrero mōu / What we are looking for?We are a thriving organisation seeking a passionate and dedicated Analyst - Saffron Menu to join our team. In this role, you will be supporting the deployment (where relevant) and ongoing operations for the Compass National Menu Management System (Saffron). This will include day-to-day maintenance of the system and supporting deployment into new areas.We offer a permanent full-time position that provides exciting opportunities for professional growth. While our National Support Office in Parnell, Auckland is preferred, we are open to considering candidates from anywhere in New Zealand.Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:You will be responsible for:
  • maintaining recipe and menu data in the Menu Management System (Saffron) to ensure that these are safe and fit for purpose
  • In conjunction with the Culinary Development Leads, the National Dietician Manager and the relevant sector's General Manager - Culinary, responsible for maintaining recipe, menu, production plan cycles, and sales order data in the Menu Management System (Saffron) to ensure that these are safe and fit for purpose.
  • Maintain recipes and menus for the Sales Order component of the Menu Management System (Saffron) e.g. MOE School lunch program, kitchen charge-outs, and menu grid production at the Production kitchen.
  • Undertake testing to maintain menu alignment with the National Menu per sector and site, across sectors and brand specific. ex: Chartwells, Eurest, Therapeutic diet coding and practices.
  • Assist with the creation of appropriate documentation & support material for site clinical teams on diet code usage.
He kōrero mōu / About you:To excel in this role, you must have:
  • at least 2-3 years of industry experience performing a similar role;
  • experience with a menu management system would be an advantage, including saffron;
  • a qualification in Food and Nutrition and/or information technology;
  • a culinary background would be an advantage;
  • experience in the Health sector would also be an advantage;
  • superior customer service and people skills;
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • to be a team player and quick learner and the able to put new skills directly into practice;
  • Experience with PowerBi would be an advantage;
  • Knowledge of NZ legislative requirements (e.g. MPI, Food Standards Code).
