- maintaining recipe and menu data in the Menu Management System (Saffron) to ensure that these are safe and fit for purpose
- In conjunction with the Culinary Development Leads, the National Dietician Manager and the relevant sector's General Manager - Culinary, responsible for maintaining recipe, menu, production plan cycles, and sales order data in the Menu Management System (Saffron) to ensure that these are safe and fit for purpose.
- Maintain recipes and menus for the Sales Order component of the Menu Management System (Saffron) e.g. MOE School lunch program, kitchen charge-outs, and menu grid production at the Production kitchen.
- Undertake testing to maintain menu alignment with the National Menu per sector and site, across sectors and brand specific. ex: Chartwells, Eurest, Therapeutic diet coding and practices.
- Assist with the creation of appropriate documentation & support material for site clinical teams on diet code usage.
- at least 2-3 years of industry experience performing a similar role;
- experience with a menu management system would be an advantage, including saffron;
- a qualification in Food and Nutrition and/or information technology;
- a culinary background would be an advantage;
- experience in the Health sector would also be an advantage;
- superior customer service and people skills;
- excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- to be a team player and quick learner and the able to put new skills directly into practice;
- Experience with PowerBi would be an advantage;
- Knowledge of NZ legislative requirements (e.g. MPI, Food Standards Code).
