What you'll be doingLead & Operate
  • Oversee shift activity and lead production support staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Troubleshoot issues and make quick decisions to keep the production line moving.
  • Operate state-of-the-art milling and manufacturing systems, including SCADA controls.
Maintain Quality
  • Perform detailed quality checks and maintain accurate production records.
  • Collaborate closely with the QA lab to ensure high product standards.
Operate Heavy Equipment
  • Operate loaders and forkhoists to manage raw material flow.
  • Assist with raw material inventory and supply chain consistency.
Safety & Maintenance
  • Promote and adhere to workplace health and safety practices.
  • Support maintenance teams in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues.
  • Contribute to scheduled preventative maintenance to maximise uptime.
What we're looking for
  • Must have WTR Licence - Loader operation experience required.
  • Prior experience in cement production or a similar manufacturing environment is highly desirable
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using automated plant systems.
  • A keen eye for detail and solid understanding of health & safety protocols.
  • A reliable, motivated team player with great communication skills.
  • You must be currently eligible to work in New Zealand (citizen, resident, or valid work visa).
