Do you want to support a broad policy work programme that will help shape the future of New Zealand's creative and cultural sectors?

We are looking for two experienced and motivated Senior Policy Advisers to join our Art & Heritage and Media & Screen policy teams.

Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the roleIn this role, you'll work on complex and meaningful policy challenges that balance economic, cultural and social outcomes.As a Senior Policy Adviser in the Arts and Heritage team you'll provide strategic advice to Ministers on a range of cultural policy issues, including the development of Amplify – the Government's Creative and Cultural Strategy.As a Senior Policy Adviser in the Media and Screen team you'll provide strategic advice to Ministers on a range of policy issues impacting on the media and screen sectors, including sector sustainability challenges and legislative reform.You'll have the opportunity to:

Lead and contribute to high-impact policy projects

Work across a range of policy levers – regulatory, funding, and system-level

Collaborate with other agencies and engage with diverse stakeholders across the cultural, creative, heritage, media and screen sectors
