We are currently delivering work ranging from Bridges and Wharves to Water Treatment Plants and Storage Tanks and Pipelines.This is a great opportunity for a Senior Project Manager - Mechanical & Electrical with experience working on heavy civil projects to oversee the delivery. This is a busy role where you’ll work closely with the operations team to coordinate engineering procurement and management of design and sub-contractors, the planning, programming and delivery of M&E works, managing commissioning through to client handover.Your solid understanding of M&E drawings and specifications, experience coordinating M&E works to programme with various sub-contractors and resolving technical issues on site quickly will be key to your success. You will ensure procurement and construction timelines are within project budget, completed in a timely manner and to the highest quality.Good Work equals Good Benefits

  • Significant project management experience in heavy civil/large infrastructure projects, ideally water treatment plants, brown fields, self-delivery packages, mechanical and pipe installation and DAF plants.
  • The ability to lead with heart, encouraging and lifting your team capability around you
  • A good understanding of control systems
  • Experience with quality control, construction completion and commissioning
  • Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
  • Proven experience creating strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including subcontractor resources
  • Commercial management, including preparation of claims, variations and extensions of time
  • Contract management, planning and financial management experience
  • A focus on quality assurance & environmental management systems
  • The ability to manage all phases of large, complex construction projects
  • The approach that safety is the number one non-negotiable in the delivery of projects
  • Minimum of a level 5 qualification or equivalent experience in a related field
