Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a passion for fabrication and a knack for resolving breakdowns? If you have 1-2 years of hands-on experience and are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role, we want to hear from you! We are seeking a talented Maintenance Engineer to join one of our clients in the Otorohanga area and ensure the smooth operation of their facility. As a fabrication specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our equipment, minimizing downtime, and contributing to our success.Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on saw mill equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot and diagnose breakdowns to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Conduct fabrication work to repair or replace damaged components as needed.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts usage and equipment history.
Ensure safety protocols and standards are followed at all times.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer, with a focus on fabrication.
Proficiency in fabrication techniques, including welding, cutting, and machining.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve breakdowns efficiently.
Knowledge of saw mill equipment and machinery is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, if necessary.
