
Senior Associates - Audit - Wellington

- Planning and coordinating audits with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues, ensuring audits are executed in compliance with policies and protocols.
- Executing audit processes with an understanding of an entity's operating environment.
- Knowledge of audit technical skills, audit methodology and audit documentation standards.
- Experience delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
- Experience leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits.
- A degree and/or progress towards/completion of a recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Experience in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and in related financial reporting matters.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach.
- Demonstrable experience of managing a project, with particular emphasis on time management and communication.
- The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing value added recommendations.
