This role is critical in ensuring a seamless migration while maintaining data integrity, user experience, and operational continuity.Reporting to the Technical Product Owner Collaboration and Email, you will be working in an Agile product delivery way with our Information Capability team to ensure the success of removing the technical debt associated with SharePoint 2016Key Accountabilities:
  • Plan and execute the migration of content, sites, and workflows from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online.
  • Assess existing environments and create detailed migration strategies and timelines.
  • Identify and resolve compatibility issues between platforms.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met and user impact is minimised.
  • Provide documentation, training, and support to end users and internal IT teams.

  • Advanced experience in data migration, specifically in SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online.
  • Knowledge of Information Management practices relating to retention & disposal.
  • Experience with migration tools, specifically ShareGate.
  • Highly developed communication skills with the ability to translate technical and non-technical information to a range of audiences.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong focus on end-to-end ownership of issues.
