Hamilton-based | Full-time | Tier 2 Design & Build ContractorWe're looking for a proactive and detail-focused Bid Coordinator to join a well-established commercial contractor in Hamilton. They're a busy design & build business working across a solid pipeline of commercial and industrial projects throughout the Waikato, and they're after someone who can help them put their best foot forward when it comes to winning work.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across different teams, thrives under pressure, and has a knack for pulling information together in a clear, professional way.What the role involves:
- Coordinating tender submissions from start to finish
- Working with estimators, project managers, and designers to pull together technical content
- Managing deadlines and making sure everything gets out the door on time
- Formatting, proofreading and packaging tender documents to a high standard
- Communicating with subcontractors and suppliers to help build competitive bids
- Keeping templates and bid resources organised and up to date
- Previous New Zealand based experience in a bid, marketing, or coordination role (construction industry experience is a big plus)
- Someone who's organised, sharp with detail, and comfortable juggling multiple moving parts
- Strong writing and formatting skills - Microsoft Office is essential, and InDesign would be handy
- A team player who can work across functions and isn't afraid to ask questions or speak up
