- Proven experience in a management or leadership role in the mental health or social services sector (at least two years).
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or hold current registration under the HPCA Act or DAPAANZ.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with whānau, staff, and stakeholders.
- An in-depth understanding and knowledge of the community mental health and wellbeing and/or social services sector in New Zealand.
- A person-centred approach, with a focus on empowerment and cultural competence.
- Experience managing budgets, resources, and operational performance.
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of individuals and whānau.
