As PACU Team Leader, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the Post Anaesthesia Care Unit, including rostering, allocation of nurses, and ensuring exceptional patient care standards.
Working alongside our Perioperative Service Manager and leadership team, you'll drive performance, support staff development, and build strong relationships with consultants and healthcare partners. Your leadership will keep the unit operating at the highest standard - clinically, operationally, and technologically.
This is a full time role, Monday to Friday with shifts between 8:00am and 7:30pm,Package and Benefits

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the PACU nursing team on a daily basis
  • Oversee rosters, leave management, and staffing allocation
  • Conduct performance appraisals and mentor team members
  • Ensure the highest standards of patient care are maintained
  • Drive team growth through training and professional development initiatives
Skills and Experience
  • Registered Nurse with Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
  • 5+ years' experience in PACU or Critical Care nursing
  • Leadership and management experience (advantageous)
  • Level 4 (Expert) PDRP - attained or working towards
  • Postgraduate certificate or diploma - attained or working towards
  • Calm, organised, and precise under pressure
  • Resilient and adaptable in a changing environment
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
