As the IT Asset Optimisation Analyst within the Digital Services team you will take ownership of the full lifecycle of IT assets - from procurement and deployment to retirement - ensuring they deliver maximum value across the University.In this role, you'll:
- Analyse asset utilisation, performance, and cost data to identify optimisation opportunities
- Build insightful dashboards and reports to support decision-making
- Monitor software licensing, compliance, and vendor relationships
- Collaborate with stakeholders across procurement, finance, and operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement of asset management processes and governance.
- A customer-centric, service-obsessed mindset and comfortable with agile and lean ways of working.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with strong communication skills
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, ideally with tools such as Power BI
- Knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management, ITIL practices, and licensing models
- Experience with ITAM/CMDB tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Snow, Lansweeper, SCCM)
- Familiarity with Data analytics techniques and tools (e.g. PowerBI)
