Guest Service - Deliver exceptional bar service, creating memorable experiences for our guests from the first pour to the last sip.
Drink Knowledge - Stay informed about our cocktail menu, wine selection, and premium spirits, confidently making recommendations and mixing drinks with precision.
Presentation - Serve beverages with attention to detail and in accordance with our presentation standards.
Cleanliness - Maintain a clean and organised bar, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
Team Collaboration - Work closely with the floor and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service and an elevated guest experience.
Upselling - Utilise suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and maximise sales.
Compliance - Adhere to all responsible service of alcohol regulations, health and safety policies and InterContinental brand standards.

What we need from you

A passion for beverages, mixology and hospitality.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a bar or hospitality role is an advantage but not essential.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Must have valid New Zealand working rights.
