Use your experience in Communications and Change in a cross agency programme that will have an enduring, and tangible impact on Public Safety in Aotearoa.Mō tēnei tūranga - about the roleAs part of the Fire and Emergency NZ's Public Safety Network (PSN) Programme, we are updating our communications systems to ensure our front-line staff have access to secure and resilient communication tools that enable them to do their jobs, stay safe and support our communities.Working within the Business Readiness workstream of the programme, the Advisor Communications and Change is responsible for providing timely support to training and change related activities. This will involve developing and delivering tactical communications, scheduling training activities across the motu, tracking the completion of change and training activities as well as monitoring business readiness.This is a secondment or fixed term opportunity until 30 June 2027. This position is based in Wellington, however for the right candidate, we would be open to some flexibility.   • Proven experience delivering high quality people focused change support within a programme
  • Experience managing complex change activities within projects/programmes
  • Experience providing logistical support such as scheduling, travel and itinerary planning across a large organisation
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with a focus on people
  • The ability to prioritise a workload with competing deadlines
