What you will Do?
  • Meet with customers and understand their lending requirements
  • Apply the lending criteria of different lenders to customer lending needs
  • Prepare mortgage applications for submission to lenders for a successful outcome
  • Ensure all home loan applications meet internal and external compliance requirements
  • Assist advisers and customers in answering any queries from lenders for successful mortgage approval
  • Liaise with customers to ensure all required documents are complete and accurate
  • Negotiate interest rates with lenders on behalf of customers
  • Assist customers with loan rollovers and refixes
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations, lender policies, and market trends
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry codes, and internal processes
  • Provide exceptional service to build trust and long-term client relationships
  • Meet or exceed sales and performance targets set by the company
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Strong sales and relationship management professional with core strength in commercial lending
  • Certified in Financial Services - Level 5 (Lending Strand) - this is essential
  • Proven experience as a Mortgage Adviser or Lending Specialist with a minimum of 2 years
  • Demonstrated sales success and strong business acumen with a high-performing sales mindset
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in financial planning and investment management
  • Proven ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
  • Capable of working independently and within a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver strategic solutions
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload efficiently
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work autonomously when required
