If you’re a proactive administrator with a strong customer service focus, this could be your next opportunity.As an Administrator embedded in the Department of Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Medicine at the University of Otago, Christchurch, you will join a collaborative team of professionals working across the campus within the Divisional Services and Administration Team.You will become a trusted point of contact for a range of students, staff and visitors, so your strong customer service skills will be an advantage.Key tasks of the role include:
- Providing a wide range of administrative support including meeting support, diary management, correspondence and document management, and confidential records management.
- Coordinating undergraduate and/or postgraduate timetables, examinations and student results.
- Liaising with stakeholders, internal and external to facilitate clinical experiences for students.
- Providing pastoral care support to students.
- Using University systems to update databases, extract data, provide reports, and other relevant information.
- Transactional financial processing including purchase card reconciliation, reimbursements, purchasing and invoicing.
- Working collaboratively with team members across our different University campuses.
- Has previous experience in a busy and/or complex administration environment.
- Is highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programmes.
- Is calm, adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- Enjoys being busy and loves problem solving.
