The farm is 226ha with 750 cows milked through a 44 aside Herringbone.This role will require you to lead a team of 3 fulltime staff and other supporting staff as required, encouraging a positive, high-performing culture while driving productivity. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager who you will work closely with to ensure farms achieve physical and financial targets.To be successful in this role, you will require at least 5 years' farming experience. You will be able to display proficiency in managing and motivating staff, excellence in animal husbandry along with a sound understanding of pasture and feed management principles. You will need to have excellent communication skills both written and oral and be familiar with IT software commonly used within the dairy industry. It is desirable that you have a good understanding of financial budgets and management principles.We are offering competitive remuneration packages which include a warm and tidy home with garage.
