Tradestaff Hawke's Bay are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join one of our valued clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a professional team maintaining and repairing fleet vehicles, trucks, and heavy machinery.The Role:
- Servicing and maintaining fleet vehicles, trucks, and heavy machinery
- Diagnosing and repairing diesel engines
- Performing preventative maintenance and safety checks
- Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Ensuring accurate service and repair records are kept
- Trade qualification in Automotive / Heavy Diesel (or equivalent experience) preferred
- Our client will also consider experienced mechanics with strong diesel experience
- Solid hands-on mechanical skills with problem-solving ability
- Current driver's licence (Class 2 or higher an advantage)
- Reliable, positive attitude with a focus on safe work practices
