Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the roleTe Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is seeking two permanent, full-time HR Advisers to join the HR Advisory team within People Operations, Te Pūmunawa Tāngata.These roles offer variety and complexity, covering employment relations, organisational design, and change processes. You'll be part of a large, experienced team of Senior Advisers and Advisers delivering timely, best-practice advice across core HR functions.Te Pūmunawa Tāngata is undergoing an ongoing transformation through to 2026, including changes to the HR services operating model.Salary range: We are looking to appoint into the salary range between $79,220 - $93,200 per annum.Ō pūmanawa - About youYou'll bring, strong foundational HR knowledge, a client-focused approach and at least 12-18 months of HR advisory experience. You're confident working independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication and relationship management skills.You're tech-savvy, familiar with HR systems (Oracle), Microsoft Office 365, and Power BI. Adaptability, resilience, and a team-oriented mindset are key-especially in a changing environment.
