- Managing documentation workflows - Maintain control over all project documentation, including technical drawings, contracts, specifications, and reports.
- Implementing document control processes - Ensure all documents are properly registered, distributed, and archived according to company and project-specific procedures.
- Facilitating communication - Act as the central point of contact for handling documentation between project teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Maintaining compliance and accuracy - Verify that all documentation complies with industry standards, project requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Organizing digital and physical records - Use document management systems to store and retrieve project documents quickly and efficiently.
- Tracking revisions and updates - Monitor changes to drawings, contracts, and other critical project files, ensuring version control and proper dissemination of the latest information.
- Supporting audits - Assist with documentation preparation for project reviews, inspections, and audits to demonstrate compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
- A tertiary qualification in any business course or a certificate in Total Quality Management or a related discipline.
- Experience in a document control position, preferably within the construction industry.
- Procore and Team Binder or other EDMS (Electronic Data Management System) experience is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
