The department has around 28,000 presentations per year from people living across a wide geographical region including many rural remote communities.We are currently recruiting to permanent FTE within the service. Whakatāne ED provides the opportunity to work with a committed team of skilled ED clinicians (medical and nursing staff) in a purpose built and well-resourced clinical setting.
