
Clinical Nurse Specialist, Urology

- Provide expert clinical assessment, treatment, education, and case management for complex Urology patients.
- Undertake and support a range of urological procedures (e.g. catheterisation, cystoscopy, bladder instillations, prostate biopsy, urodynamic studies).
- Lead service improvements by developing policies, pathways, and innovative approaches to care.
- Actively mentor, coach, and educate nursing staff across Urology services.
- Monitor patient flow and collaborate with teams to address service delays.
- Drive health equity initiatives, particularly supporting Māori and Pacific health outcomes.
- Contribute to quality improvement, clinical audits, and research activities.
- Build strong partnerships with patients, whaanau, regional urology services, GPs, and allied health providers.
- Be part of a specialist urology team making a real difference for patients and whaanau.

- NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- 5+ years surgical nursing experience in NZ (post registration)
- Recent urology nursing experience
- Relevant post graduate qualification completed or near completion
- Functioning at Proficient or Expert level on the PDRP
- Excellent communication skills
