- Provides leadership
- Is responsible for the clinical management and support of the nursing team.
- They will develop the nursing services
- Ensure that the nursing team deliver high-quality care to the patients who visit the practice.
- They will investigate and monitor clinical incidents
- Provide clinical backup and help with quality systems and procedures.
- The Nurse Team Lead will lead by example, showing a high level of professionalism, sensitivity, respect and confidentiality when dealing with colleagues and patients.
- NZ Nursing Registration and APC
- Recent experience in primary care, either as a charge/lead nurse or similar
- Great interpersonal skills,
- Accurate documentation and commitment
- Ability to work well as part of a team,
- Able to provide support & encouragement
- Be effective with change management
- Experience with managing 5+ nurses and liaising with a practice team of 30+.
- Administration and daily routine duties are taken care of by health care and medical assistants to ensure your time can be devoted to pursuing and promoting clinical excellence.
