Tēnei tūranga - About the Role:The Project Coordinator is a key role within Strategy, Planning and Performance, using proven organising andcoordination skills, working across a diverse range of stakeholders. The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of policy projects and programmes, including the Regional Infrastructure Fund (RIF). This role involves coordinating proposal timelines, tracking project milestones, and providing administrative support to the Policy Team. The Coordinator works closely with senior leaders, policy leads, executive assistants, and tiger teams to ensure smooth project progression and timely communication.Excellent organisational skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively across multiple work-streamsare required to support the development and implementation of the Regional Development initiatives. Exceptional teamwork and strong collaborative abilities and experience in administration and project coordination, includingreporting, developing systems and tracking processes across multiple stakeholders.Ngā pukenga me ngā wheako e hiahiatia ana - Skills and Experience RequiredWe're interested to hear from you if you have:
Strong experience in a support/administrative/coordinator role
Experience monitoring and maintaining oversight of project process, including through key reviews and milestones
Knowledge of project and process disciplines
Proven ability to develop trust and credibility with peers
Well organised with excellent planning skills
Understanding of regional development
Ability to work with people across all levels of an organisation
Project coordination and Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills (particularly Word and Excel)
Excellent communication skills - verbal, business writing and reporting
Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
