Bring your passion, experience and drive and contribute to a truly worthwhile purpose – influencing and shaping positive change across the motu, for all New Zealanders.New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP) is the branch, within the Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment, tasked with leading the settings, outcomes and performance of the procurement system managing this expenditure.The Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting multiple projects within the Branch Operations team, as well as contributing to the wider New Zealand Government Procurement branch. This role is responsible for providing coordination and administrative support to ensure the successful delivery of the operational work programme, along with branch-wide reporting and governance requirements.The role will engage and collaborate with key stakeholders across the branch and the wider Ministry to address gaps to project management that impact the delivery of our top priorities. › Strong attention to detail with the ability to develop and implement fit for purpose, innovative systems, processes and documentation.
› Excellent communication (written, visual and oral) skills, including ability to summarise and convey key points from large amounts of information.
› Ability to analyse problems to identify issues, options, strategies and solutions.
› Proven ability to take care, concise and accurate minutes, capturing key decisions and actions from meetings
› High attention to detail and accuracy in written and numerical work.
› Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, and confident in working with senior leaders.
› Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment to enable decision making and ensure tasks and actions are completed in a timely way.
› Significant proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general troubleshooting.
› Experience in project or programme management, administration or related area.
› Proven experience in developing systems and tracking processes across various teams, including the creation and maintenance of work programme documents and risk registers.
