- Develop and maintain broker relationships to source loans.
- Develop relationships with financial advisors as a source of investment funds.
- Prepare loan proposals for approval in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure high quality credit decisions of loans within the credit criteria.
- Liaise with brokers and other service providers.
- Monitor the NZ property and mortgage markets for risks and opportunities.
- Provide accurate reports to management on loan approvals, pipeline and turnaround times.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the mortgage broking market.
- Excellent business development skills ideally in a bank or nonbank environment.
- Experience in preparing loan proposals.
- Ability to forge strong business relationships with financial advisors.
- Must have a high level of verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service focus.
- High level of professionalism and presentation.
