Reporting to the Pricing and Estimating Manager, this role is all about being organised and great with systems and processes. Full training is provided on how to interpret building plans, but our main requirement is for a skilled administrator with a willingness to learn.The plans administrator helps our estimators, account managers and pricing teams transform a building plan into a product that is accurately priced to specifications, and ready to build. You'll do this by maintaining and updating the latest information on building plans into our estimating management system. You'll be requesting pricing from suppliers for non standard stock items, and coordinating information and from our quantity surveyors and estimating teams to keep things running smoothly.Your skillsThe foundations to this role will see you demonstrating the below skill set:
- Systems administration - you'll be entering the latest plans into our estimating management system
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to communicate at all levels
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn about the building trade and how plans are interpreted
