
Quality Controller

- Understand and uphold Health and Safety requirements.
- Maintain and comply with Food Safety, BRC, MPI, MAF, and NZA standards and audit protocols.
- Gain proficiency in critical control points (CCPs) processes.
- Assist in sampling packed products and identifying those not meeting customer specifications.
- Record and enter data accurately into electronic systems.
- Ensure consistent record keeping and filing following company and customer Quality Manual procedures.
- Maximise fruit quality at site level and minimise losses due to poor grading or repacking, supporting reject analysis.
- Support the department in resolving checking and processing issues, including on-call availability after hours and weekends.
- Perform other duties as reasonably required.
- Previous experience with software and technology systems relevant to quality control.
- Qualification under customer guidelines and familiarity with Seeka's quality standards (Seeka DQS).
- Awareness and practical experience with Health & Safety legislative requirements.
- Experience working within horticulture or the primary industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels, from managers to growers.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to high-quality standards.
