- Creating and delivering the festival’s marketing strategy
- Managing media relationships
- Leading the creation and production of social media content
- Writing press releases
- Producing marketing collateral
- Collaborating on festival evaluation
- 560 total hours
- $40 per hour (independent contractor)
- Full-time availability is required in the weeks leading up to and during the 11-day festival.
- Hours outside of this period will be part-time and scheduled by negotiation.
- Contract runs from early October to early April
- Is a people person, confident in building and managing relationships
- Has excellent digital marketing, communication, and copywriting skills
- Can multitask, manage tight deadlines, and maintain strong attention to detail
- Has some graphic design skills
- Ideally has experience in growing audiences and engagement
- Is passionate about arts, culture, and creativity
- Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
- Our preference is for someone based in Ōtepoti Dunedin, or able to be for the majority of the contract
