- Provide 2iC support to the Senior GM - People & Performance, providing strategic and operational HR support across NZ.
- Lead and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth and engaging employee experience.
- Support graduate recruitment, onboarding and career development in collaboration with the Professional Services team.
- Provide expert advice on policies, procedures, performance management, and employment terms.
- Be the key point of contact for the various HR systems ensuring accuracy and optimisation.
- Guide and coach leaders through performance and development conversations.
- Manage contractor engagement, compliance, and reporting.
- Oversee key activities linked to acquisitions, organisational reviews, audits, and Health & Safety.
- Participate in the continual development of HR programs and initiatives.
- To provide leadership and mentoring across the organisation.
- A strong HR generalist background with hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle.
- Proven ability to influence and build trust with stakeholders of all levels.
- Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with confidence.
- Strong knowledge of NZ employment legislation and HR best practices.
- A high degree of discretion, emotional intelligence, and a practical, down-to-earth style.
- A natural problem solver who is comfortable with ambiguity and driven by finding solutions.
- Experience with HR systems and reporting tools; strong systems know-how is essential.
