National Event Water Safety & Logistics ManagerFull-time | $80k - $85k| | Based in Tauranga/Mt Maunganui (preferred)Across Aotearoa, our volunteer lifeguards have saved thousands of lives and ensured millions have come home safe after a day at the beach since 1910. Surf Life Saving New Zealand (SLSNZ) is truly unique, delivering proactive surf lifeguarding and essential emergency rescue services, a range of public education beach safety programmes and campaigns, member education, training and development as well as a highly respected sport. Want to combine your event skills, surf lifesaving knowledge, and logistical know-how? This is your chance to lead water safety delivery and logistics for SLSNZ's national events programme.What You'll Be Doing
You'll coordinate and manage water safety delivery, including recruiting personnel, reviewing safety plans, and supporting club capability. You'll also manage the logistics that bring major events to life, from gear transport and maintenance to infrastructure set-up and volunteer crews.What You'll Bring

Experience in event logistics or sport delivery
Strong water safety and risk management understanding
Great with people, equipment, and problem-solving
Fit, hands-on, and happy towing trailers and lifting gear
Strong organisational and communication skills
