He īnoi tēnei ki a koe ki te tono i tētahi tūnga ki te Kaunihera o Ōtautahi.About the role | Ko te mahi neiIn this role, you'll be responsible for sport, recreation and event facility hire bookings across our network of pools, stadia and meeting rooms. Some of the key responsibilities are: - Liaising with customers on a daily basis to support the entire booking process, providing advise on the best spaces to fit their sporting needs.
- Delivering a branded customer experience that is actively engaging, inspires confidence and a can-do attitude.
- Working collaboratively with other teams throughout the Recreation, Sports and Events unit to support the delivery of our services and meet the needs of customers.
- Encouraging retention and ongoing participation for our sports groups, clubs, partners, organisations and the public wishing to book spaces.
About you | Ko Koe TēneiHere are just a few of the things you'll need to be successful in this role: - Sporting background: deep enthusiasm and comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of sports and recreational activities.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with administrative bookings in a customer focused environment.
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form.
- A great attitude and a keenness for continued growth & development.
- An ability to promote our bookable indoor Rec & Sport spaces and attract a diverse range of users.

- Position: Full-time, permanent.
- Location: Pioneer Recreation and Sports Centre, or other Centres across our network of facilities as required.
- Hourly rate: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $28.95 to $31.68, based on a 40-hour work week. Starting salaries will be based on the knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role.
