Working closely with your team, you'll carry out maintenance, repairs, and renewals to keep our tracks safe and reliable. From operating tools to assisting with welding tasks, you'll gain hands-on experience and receive on-the-job training to build your skills. This is a physically active role, often outdoors, requiring adaptability and teamwork. Safety is our top priority, and you'll actively contribute to fostering a Zero Harm culture by participating in toolbox discussions and ensuring all work complies with safety standards.Ngā pukenga e rapu nei mātou | What you will bring:We're looking for individuals who are eager to learn, safety-conscious, and ready to tackle challenges head-on. You'll have:

Basic physical fitness and stamina for a hands-on role.
A “can-do” attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
A commitment to safety and attention to detail.
A Class1 and ideally a 2 driver's licence (or willingness to obtain one).
