  • gather evidence
  • analyse policy issues
  • develop policy options
  • prepare policy advice for the organisation
  • work collaboratively with other agencies and districts to develop and deliver 'fit-for-purpose' policy that supports safe and effective healthcare delivery for our people, families and whānau.
About youEssential:
  • Relevant bachelor's degree-level qualification
  • Three to five years' experience working in document control and quality assurance
  • More than five years' experience in a leadership or management role that interfaces with the public and/or with consumer/whānau of services
  • Understands strategic context, current policy agendas, and priorities
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of the national health policy environment
  • Current knowledge of clinical care delivery systems
  • Experience working in a leadership role in the healthcare sector
