Whilst being the teams right-hand support you will be involved in ensuring effective, compliant, and high-quality HR service delivery across the business, contribute and support initiatives aimed at promoting workplace wellbeing and employee engagement, initiative recommendations for process improvement, ensures accuracy of employee data, and works across HR projects and initiatives managing timelines and deliverables. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Provide 2iC support and assistance to the People & Performance team.
  • Provide high-quality HR administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems, and compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, delivering responsive, professional, and people-focused HR support.
  • Support HR processes, reporting, and projects that enable business performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and ways of working that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
  • Contribute and support initiatives aimed at promoting workplace wellbeing and employee engagement.
  • Ensures accuracy and security of employee data, ensuring timely updates for changes.
  • Onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth and engaging employee experience.
  • Be the key point of contact for the various HR systems ensuring accuracy and optimisation.
  • Create employment contracts and letters of offer.
  • Update and maintain employee visa status.
  • Monthly reporting.
  • Conduct inductions (back up).
  • Health & Safety; take minutes at the H&S committee meetings, follow up action points.
  • L&D programmes: co-ordinate and set up online registration.
  • Create the wellbeing newsletter.
  • Police checks.
  • Manage contractor engagement, contracts, compliance, and reporting.
  • Participate in the continual development of HR programs and initiatives.
To be successful in this Human Resources Administrator role, you will have:
  • Proven experience working within the HR team as an administrator / support person
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proven experience operating efficiently, proactively and relatively autonomously in a busy, hands-on role
  • Experience with HR systems and reporting tools
  • A can do and willing attitude with a hunger for learning and growth development
