Job Description:Are you passionate about training and staff development? We're seeking a Training & Development Manager to join a global organization and a reliable, dedicated team. This role is based in Auckland and reports to the Technical Manager.You'll be responsible for managing and delivering a registered training program to ensure colleagues learn the essentials of effective and compliant pest management.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver the registered training program.
  • Maintain and improve training materials.
  • Keep personal development and training plans up to date for all trainees.
  • Deliver training in other areas of the business, including sales and administration.
  • Provide operational support for field-based applications.
Skills & ExperienceWe're looking for someone with experience in adult education training, with a preference for candidates who have experience in the pest control industry. You should be adaptable, have strong communication skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Essential:
  • At least 3 years of experience in training and assessing against internal and external standards.
  • High level of interpersonal and computer skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with limited supervision.
  • Availability to travel as needed.
  • A New Zealand Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching (Level 4).
Preferred:
  • At least 2 years of experience in commercial pest management service delivery.
  • Experience in the pest control industry.
  • Proficiency with Google Apps, Samsung, and Android systems, with at least 2 years of experience.
  • A background in professional development and providing accredited training.
  • Specific certifications like a Certificate III in Urban Pest Management (CPP30119) or a New Zealand Certificate in Pest Operations (Level 3).
