Operating across the future energy, power generation, oil and gas and industrial sectors, we work closely with our customers to optimise the reliability, efficiency and whole of life costs of their assets and facilities.THE ROLEThis is a critical Utilities senior leadership team (SLT) role responsible for the leadership, growth and operational oversight of single Water contracts, project, or joint venture with revenue between $20M to $80M.Within its scope of operational oversight, the role is accountable for
  • Project Leadership & Governance - Oversee project setup, execution, and governance compliance while ensuring timely reporting on performance.
  • Team Management & Communication - Provide leadership, guidance, and support to direct reports across multiple departments to maintain collaboration and efficiency.
  • Zero Harm & Compliance - Champion safety, quality, and environmental standards, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
  • Financial & Cost Management - Monitor project costs, forecasts, and budgets, taking corrective action to maintain financial targets and business objectives.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement - Build and maintain strong client relationships, negotiate work contracts, and develop business growth opportunities.
  • People & Culture Development - Lead resource planning, performance management, and succession planning to foster a skilled and engaged workforce.
ABOUT YOU
  • 15 years' experience in the engineering and/or construction industry, preferably with D&B experience
  • Extensive experience in a similar position managing Water / Infrastructure Projects
  • Solid understanding and demonstration of successful Project Directorship and Project Management skills
  • Management experience (general and operational) with capability to develop strategic / business / project plans and delivery responsibility
  • A good understanding of, and experience with, the business challenges impacting upon business in different life cycles (e.g. expanding, mature, declining or new market)
  • Experience in researching, analysing and understanding complex information to develop and implement business solutions
