About the Auckland System Management (ASM) AllianceThe ASM is an alliance between HEB Construction, Fulton Hogan and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency to operate and maintain Auckland's motorway network. The Alliance is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers using the Auckland transport system. Estimated project dates are from July 2019 to June 2028.The OpportunityWe have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of structure's asset works on the Auckland motorway and state highway network. As Project Engineer, you will take ownership of structures maintenance projects from start to finish, ensuring their safe and efficient delivery.What you will be doing:As Structures Project Engineer, you will oversee the organisation, scheduling, and implementation of works to specification. You will also be responsible for:

Planning, reviewing specifications, and managing resources including plant and labour
Overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring deliverables, quality, schedules, budgets, and compliance are met.
Collaborating with wider team on contractual, commercial, and technical matters.
Inspecting completed works, assessing needs, and implementing corrective measures as required.
Managing financial aspects of projects, maintaining customer relationships, and progress reporting.
Providing technical support and assistance.

Above all, you will ensure safe and timely delivery of all structure's projects, placing a strong focus on quality from start to finish.About You:You will be a highly motivated Project Manager, with sound experience working on maintenance or construction projects. You will also have the following:

Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years' experience as a civil or mechanical engineer.
Strong financial acumen.
Full class 1 NZ license.
Availability to work both day and nights as required.
