We're driven by our values - We Grow Together, We Keep Things Simple, We Get Stuff DoneAbout the RoleWe are looking for a fixed-term Project Engineer to join our Operations support team at our Quality Bakers site in Auckland – New Zealand's largest plant bakery – in our supporting remedial, capital investment programme.In order to achieve this, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Maintain strict scope controls to protect the project capital cost and scheduling of KPIs
  • Provide regular reports to stakeholders with written updates and site project meetings
  • Support with procurement including tender, bid evaluation, pre-award and award, including contract management through supply, installation and commission
  • Oversee Scope of Work, Technical Performance Specifications and cost estimation
Note: Role is a 18-month fixed-term contract. There is a potential for the contract to be extended pending further capital project approvals.About YouIn order to make this role a success, we are looking for a Project Engineer ideally with a few years' experience in delivering Capital, Industrial, or Automation projects.Specifically, some of the experiences and skillsets we are looking for include:
  • An Engineering qualification or diploma (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation) is beneficial; a qualification in Project Management would be advantageous but not essential
  • Experience in overseeing the installation & commissioning of complex equipment, preferably at a food manufacturing site
  • Full Permit management experience & an understanding of hygienic design and Safety in design
  • Experience with AutoCAD for 2D layouts and P&IDs
